NYC & Us.

It’s rare when D and I can getaway together sans the kiddo for a long period of time. Typically, we would leave on a Friday afternoon and return by Sunday afternoon. This is the longest we’ve been away from Joey in over 4 years. This is also a time of celebration. A celebration of just spending some quality one-on-one time with my best friend. D works very long hours! Joey and I typically get him to ourselves on weekends. And I typically get him all to myself on date nights but sometimes those date nights have distractions. During this trip, there weren’t any.

We left JFK Airport…missing NYC. We had a wonderful time. So much fun, sleep, walking, eating…so much eating…and as ironic as it sounds, so relaxing. We came back feeling rejuvenated, well rested, wanting to see our little boy and ready to tackle reality!  Cheers! Thanks for reading!
